How Our Tampa Palms Realtors Can Help You Find a Home

When you are watching shows like House Hunters on HGTV, the process of finding a house seems like a lot of fun. In real life, house hunting can be stressful. A house is a major financial investment and commitment, so you want to make sure that you get it right.

Looking at Tampa Palms is an excellent place to start. If you have decided on this neighborhood, we can guide you through the process of finding a house, making an offer, negotiating a deal, and getting to closing. Our Tampa Palms real estate agents will help you set a budget, decide on the most important criteria for your house hunting, find houses to tour, and get a great deal. We will stand by your side throughout the process.

Our Tampa Palms real estate agents use a simple three-step process to help our clients buy a house:

1. Pre-approval: When searching for a house, it is all too easy to go above your budget. We believe that getting pre-approved for a mortgage can help you stay on track financially. When you know exactly what you can afford and your monthly mortgage payment at various price points, it is easier to make a smart financial decision. You can also use our mortgage calculator to estimate your monthly mortgage payment.
2. Search: Once you have a budget and pre-approval, it’s time to get to work and find a house. We will work with you to develop a few different lists - what you must have, what would be nice to have, and what is an absolute “no” for you in a house. This can include everything from lot size to number of bedrooms and bathrooms to one-floor living. With these lists and your budget in mind, we will find houses in Tampa Palms for you to tour. If you aren’t 100% set on Tampa Palms, we can even suggest homes in communities with a similar feel based on your criteria.
3. Close: Once you find your perfect home, we will help you make an offer based on in-depth research on comparable homes in the neighborhood and other factors. We will then work with you to negotiate an agreement for the house, giving you the benefit of our insight into the local market. If the sellers accept your offer, we will offer you advice on the next steps, such as hiring a home inspector and securing financing. We will then schedule a closing, where you will sign a lot of paperwork before the title is officially transferred to you. When the closing is done, you will get the keys to your new Tampa Palms home!
