Once again, Eaton Realty is back at the annual Fishhawk Ranch Chili Cook-off, and we've brought the winning recipe! We know you'll love it so much we're sharing it with you so you can make it at home. Of course, because we believe in keeping things simple, all you need to do is brown the meat and dump everything into a slow cooker. Here's everything you'll need:
2 tablespoons avocado oil
1 cup diced yellow onion
1 1/2 cups diced green bell pepper
1 cup diced poblano pepper
1/2 cup seeded and diced jalapeño
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons salt
2 pounds of ground beef
1 teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons tomato paste
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons hot sauce
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
15 oz can fire-roasted tomatoes
2 cups low-sodium beef broth
7 1/2 oz canned pinto beans
7 1/2 oz canned ranch-style beans
Garnish with sour cream, shredded cheese, corn chips, sliced green onions
