<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithia,_Florida">Lithia</a> is a small community located in southeastern Hillsborough County, one of Florida’s fastest-growing regions, about 18 miles southeast of Tampa, just minutes from shopping in <a href="http://www.americantowns.com/fl/brandon-things-to-do">Brandon</a> and with easy access to Interstate 75.&nbsp; As of the last census, Lithia’s population was 8,527, but with the addition of <a href="/neighborhood/fishhawk-ranch">FishHawk Ranch</a> and <a href="/neighborhood/fish-hawk-trails">FishHawk Trails</a>, the population and infrastructure have increased dramatically with more public works and retail stores.&nbsp; Even more, is in development with the addition of what was once called Lake Hutto, and then renamed FishHawk West&nbsp;subdivision which consists of a 1,129-acre property and development of about 3,560 new homes.&nbsp; Lithia is just a short commute to big cities, but far enough away to keep the wonderful small-town atmosphere.
